DESCRIPTION:In order to hold leadership in our ministry\, the students are required to attend an annual training retreat each summer where they are equipped for their work in ministry. They sit through hours of teaching on biblical hermeneutics\, theological triage\, and cultural hot topics\, and training on how to write devotionals\, how to care for the souls of others\, and how to steward the responsibilities of ministry. \n5 Main Conference is a mandatory training retreat that each of the girls who will be stepping up into a DOLLS leadership position on their campuses MUST attend! If an elected officer becomes unable to attend the conference\, her position will be compromised. DOLLS Headquarters feels very strongly about the purposes of this conference and will not negotiate on this matter. \nWhy It’s Mandatory \nBut don’t be confused…this event is going to amazing! You will be so thankful you went. We promise! There will be team building games\, incredible speakers\, invigorating discussions\, new friendships made\, campfires\, dancing\, singing\, eating\, and much\, much more! \nDuring the conference\, our officers will be trained in how to effectively lead their chapters.\nThey will receive teachings on the following topics: \nPreaching the Gospel\nConflict & Time Management\nFulfilling an Officer Position\nWalking with Biblical Integrity\nChurch History\, Fundamentals of Faith\nLeading an Inter-denominational Club

DESCRIPTION:North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform. Every year DOLLS asks people to partner with us as matching donors to get us to our fundraising goal for that year. Our 2024 goal is to raise $15\,000 through North Texas Giving Day. SUMMARY:Betrothal Banquet
DESCRIPTION:The Betrothal Banquet is a bi-annual tradition of DOLLS designed for mothers and daughters to join with girls from all our active chapters for an evening to celebrate God’s unbelievable\, unceasing love for His bride\, the Church. \n\nThis special mother-daughter event is a time dedicated to helping us pause and reflect on the blessed hope we have that we will one day see our Savior face-to-face\, and dine together with Him at the most epic feast of all time; The Wedding Feast of the Lamb. Every element of this evening has been intricately designed to help us long with great anticipation for that eventful day when Christ will gather in His Bride (the Church/Christians) to Himself and we will enjoy His presence forevermore. \nAt this event\, all attendees are encouraged to come dressed in attire that is all white. This symbolically represents the pure\, righteous appearance we have been given in the eyes of God as believers in Christ. Throughout the ceremony\, girls are given tangible tools that will help them better understand the love our Father lavishes upon us. A guest speaker speaks to the girls about God’s unfailing love and the evening commences with an all-out dance party! \n  \n

SUMMARY:5 Main Boot Camp
DESCRIPTION:Boot Camp is an event where officers can come to have their skills sharpened as leaders of their chapters. Generally\, Boot Camp takes place during the month of January\, so officers have had four months to gain some experience in leadership. This event serves as an opportunity for DOLLS Headquarters to answer questions\, fine-tune the officers’ leadership skills\, and challenge our 5 main to the next level of ministry. Likewise\, there are inevitably officers who drop out half-way through the semester\, so it becomes necessary for the remaining team to find a replacement. This new officer often finds it difficult to “catch-up” with the other five\, having not had the advantage of attending the training at the 5 Main Conference over the summer. 5 Main Boot Camp serves as a crash course for these officers so that they will leave feeling up to speed with their teammates. *Boot Camp is REQUIRED for all new officers who joined mid-year

These ladies are bent on spreading the Good News and discipling their peers to greater maturity of faith and they need our continued support!  \nJoin us as we carry on what has become a special tradition for the DOLLS ministry. In the same way that we have our girls come together for vision-casting and unity-building events throughout the year\, this event is geared toward gathering all our Ministry Partners together for a parallel purpose; the missionaries (our girls) and their senders (you). It’s critical that we all remain unified in spirit and passionate about the vision God has given each of us for this ministry! DESCRIPTION:Leaders Reception is the end-of-the-year ceremony hosted by DOLLS Headquarters to honor the women who have served as leaders during the school year; 5 Main Officers\, Ambassadors\, Start-Up Captains\, and Campus Advisors. This is our chance to show our gratitude for everything they have sacrificed in order to bring Christ to public school campuses. Our leaders are invited to bring their parents and dinner is on us. We spend the evening eating and honoring the obedience these amazing young ladies have shown to the Lord over the last year.
