Gale Carter has been a faithful servant of the Lord since she repented and put her faith in Christ as her Lord & Savior during her sophomore year of high school. To this day, Gale feels a tremendous sense of gratitude & awe that the Spirit chased after her with the Truth of Jesus Christ by way of a youth ministry at a church in Cypress, Texas where she grew up. This early-in-life conversion ignited within her a heart of desperation for the younger generation. Motivated by this passion to reach teenage girls far from God, Gale founded Daughters of Our Living Lord & Savior, or DOLLS, to be a ministry designed to introduce young women to the great salvation Christ offers to those who put their trust in Him.

Gale attended Texas State University where she achieved a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies. When God gave her the vision for DOLLS during her time at Texas State, she never dreamed it would explode as rapidly as it has since our inaugural meeting in 2006. Gale currently serves as the Executive Director of the DOLLS ministry where her primary role is to train young women, ages 13-18, to go into their schools with the heart of a missionary for the Gospel. Gale’s extreme fervor for preaching God’s Word boldly, with accuracy, and with urgency has inspired hundreds of teen girls to step out of their comfort zones to be a witness for the Gospel in the lives of their peers. She is so excited about where the organization is going and thrilled to be a part of God’s great plan!

As a survivor of Thyroid Cancer and as one whom now fights a daily, ongoing battle against Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, Gale intimately understands the difficulties life can throw in our direction. She has the unique ability to encourage those who are journeying through trials to instead focus on the bigger picture of bringing glory to God. Gale has a spiritual wisdom and maturity beyond her years, allowing her to easily connect with diverse audiences, ranging from young girls in their teens to more mature and devoted women in the faith. She speaks regularly to teenagers at DOLLS sponsored events and at church gatherings, and serves as a spiritual mentor to women of various ages.

Gale and her husband, Russell, live in Allen, TX with their two puppies; Butters & Boko. They are blessed to be among the fellowship of believers from The Parkway Church based out of McKinney, TX.
